HI
i was hoping to rehome a gerbil (currently   only have 1 gerbil).
I would rather prefer to get from a rescue rather than a pet shop.
Please help me, i love gerbils
his name is snuggles hes 6 months, never bites, and so sweet and brown!

Hi Alex, my name's Alice and I rehomed Ashanti a couple of weeks ago. Just wanted to let you know that she is doing really well, she getting used to us slowly and has stopped biting (most of the time anyway!). I have bought her a ball which she loves and we really love having her as part of our family. I hope that you keep up the good work looking for nice homes for little hamsters, you are a very kind person. I was wondering if you had any longhaired teddy bear hamsters available?
my brothers been nagging for ages and i came across your site and think that you're doing something really great. I live in london myself so it would be easy for me to come and pick the hamster up.

Hello!

I think what your doing is great! I work for an animal welfare charity in London and we rescue all sorts of animals.

I think it is very important that people stop buying hamsters in pet shops and stop breeding them because like rabbits, dogs and cats, so many end up unwanted.

Also, don't you think that they would be happier living in the wild rather than in a cage?

Well done for rescuing them.

Hi Alex - both me (Liz) and my boyfriend (Matt) think your website is very cool - we breed hammies and think its a really informative and colourful place to go and get some real infomation on look after our furry friends.
My hammie Luna is sooooo similar to Bear - they could be sisters - who knows!!!
If you ever need any help with hammies then let me know - I'd be happy to help.
I'll show you the photos of my hammie babies when they're weaned, and if you or any of your friends would like one, then I'll do my best to sort that out :-)
(I sound so old in this post - I'm only 21!!)

Hamsters are cool and so are you. We saw your advert in sainsbury's and thought we'd check it out. When i was little i had a gerbil called smudge but it's tail fell off because i dangled it. I think a hamster would have been a better choice. I would be nice to a hamster now that i'm grown-up but unfortunately don't have enough time to give it the care and attention it deserves.
